Market Launch of Organic Beverage Line in France

Following a healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to be boring, as BOS Ice Tea likes to prove. Their launch campaign in France came with a series of fun events and marketing activations, engaging both consumers and media.

The story of BOS is as bold and colorful as its packaging. Originating from the southernmost tip of Africa, BOS has come a long way since its launch in Cape Town in 2010. 

When the brand decided to launch their range of organic Rooibos based ice teas in France, I supported an extensive marketing campaign throughout various events, media and influencer campaigns. 


Focussing on the French capital Paris, as well as the coastal region, the campaign kick started amongst others with: 

  • Presence at food tradeshow SIAL Paris
  • Event collaborations with different music festivals 
  • Social media competitions
  • Product sampling throughout key locations
  • A national advertising campaign

On a PR & Communications level, we undertook specifically: 

  • Strategic positioning of BOS collaborating with relevant outlets in the French media landscape
  • Direct relations with 100+ journalists and influencers featuring product demonstration and the distribution of a dedicated media pack 
  • Press days and promotional events in collaboration with other lifestyle brand 
  • Organization of a media trip to South Africa to educate key opinion leaders on the benefit’s of Rooibos as well as the roots of brand and the harvesting methods employed by BOS
  • Facilitation of a series of interviews and media appearances of the BOS founders and other key spokespeople
